On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an interconference game in an effort to bounce back from their worst defeat in 33 years. The Steelers (1-4), who have dropped four straight games, were defeated 38-3 last week in Buffalo. It was the group’s worst defeat since losing to the Cleveland Browns 51-0 in 1989. In contrast, the Buccaneers (3-2) ended a two-game losing streak in Week 5 by defeating the Atlanta Falcons 21-15.
Tom Brady is still adding to his résumé in preparation for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He had a 92.7 rating last week after passing for 351 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions. He is second in history with 56 games with 350 or more passing yards in his career and will be attempting to make it three in a row. In 12 career regular-season starts versus Pittsburgh, he has 3,744 passing yards (312 per game), 30 touchdowns, and five interceptions for a 111.1 passer rating.
The season is off to a strong start for running back Leonard Fournette as well. Fournette has rushed the ball 74 times for 280 yards (3.8 average) and one score in five games this season. Additionally, he leads the squad with a team-high 26 receptions for 194 yards (7.5 average), two touchdowns, and two spectacular plays of at least 20 yards. He ran 14 times for 56 yards and a score in the victory over Atlanta last week. He also grabbed 10 catches for 83 yards and a score.

Kenny Pickettstill considered a rookie quarterback, makes his second career start. He performed nicely in the Steelers’ Sunday defeat to the Bills. He had a rating of 74.8 and completed 34 of 52 passes (65.4%) for 327 yards with one interception. He replaced Mitch Trubisky a week earlier, and in a 24-20 loss to the New York Jetshe completed 10 of 13 passes (76.9%) for 120 yards and three interceptions.
With 28 receptions for 267 yards (9.5 average) and two explosive plays, including a long of 25 yards, wide receiver Diontae Johnson leads the Steelers. In addition, he has 14 first down conversions. Johnson is tied for the most in the NFL with five or more catches and fifty or more receiving yards in four games this season. In seven of his last eight games versus NFC opponents, he has accumulated 70+ scrimmage yards and has five or more catches in 16 of his last 17 games.
